A true story.
A thermodynamics professor had written
a take home exam for his graduate students.
It had one question:

Is hell exothermic or endothermic?

Support your answer with a proof.

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however wrote the following:

First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving?
I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.
As for souls entering hell, lets look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell. Since, there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell.
With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.
So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.

大野くんや相葉くんがかけているのに似ていますよね
実はライヴ中、
大野くんがかけているのを観て、
センセイが「うちのじゃないですか？」っと大興奮
前回のブログでお伝えした通り、
ナッキーがメールで「うちの……だよね？」と。
その後、しげからもメールがきたわけです。
編集部は元旦からイイ一体感になりました

実は、ナッキーが書いた
松本くんエピソードの後にウラ話があって……。
現在、発売号の表紙撮影の時、
諸事情で松本くんだけ居残っての
ソロインタビュー(P.17)だったんですよ。
４人は先に次の現場に向かって頂いて。
終了後、“2008メガネ”を見ながら
「ねぇ、もらっていい？」と松本くん。
「もう編集部にあっても使わないので、どうぞ」っとオリスタ。
「ありがとう」と今、思えばニヤリとしていた松本くん。
もうひとつ違う種類の“2008メガネ”があったので、
「こちらも良かったらどうぞ」と言ったんですが、
「コレだけでいいよ」っと
あのメガネだけお持ち帰りになりました。
ここまでが事実でございます！

なのでオリスタのメガネを持っているのは、
松本くんのはずなんですよー。

うちのかうちのではないかは真相は闇(笑)。
でも、編集部だけではなく、
オリスタGIRLS＆BOYSが「オリスタのかも！」っと
元旦から思ってくれたのが、
本当にウレシイ～です

と、いうことで真相は松本くんのみが知っておられます。

the glasses that ohno was wearing during the countdown was supposed to be Juns'...

this event happened during their cover shoot for the oricons' present issue, and so matsujun was left behind doing some long interview with other staff from oricon...

it was Jun who 1st saw the glasses and it caught his attention then he asked if he can have it, and they said "YES" so Jun, took the glasses with a bright smile with his face. Actually they offered him some other styles which he can have saying "you are welcome to take this one too". but he said "this one's enough yo~" then he turned his back and walk away with his 2008 glasses and a big smile *not the DoS smile* XDD ^__________^

To have a splendid day, we all must

start and end our day with ARASHI.

My bday was great!! Even though it was my 1^st bday with my dad around… he was fixing things around his office and can’t just leave it to his secretary, so being a one and only lovable daughter of him, (char! XDD) I did my best not to be a brat forcing him to come and leave things around his office unattended. I was not used of celebrating my bday w/o fireworks!!! it's so boring and i dont feel so special! nyhaha BAKAkaisuki!!!

So I, (with the confirmation of my mom and my dad), decided that we will be going home at our hometown tomorrow and be back on Jan 2, cuz it'll be the restart of our class next year…so by new year, (which i'll celebrating at my hometown WITH my complete family) i'll be taking pics of those beautiful hanabi ^_______^ yattta!!!!!!!

im not saying fandom is bad or expressing our feelings are bad. Actually it’s good to do such things. BUT, there are limitations. I just don’t get other people doing aspersion that they are some outlander just to get attention. the question is why are they doing such a thing? arent they contented of what /who they are? i guess it's true, human beings will tend to want more. it's ok to want more, just make sure you're not agonizing other people. I know out there, there are fangirls who can relate on me. Life is full of irony. We tend to judge the person base on their outside appearances, BUT first impressions doesn’t really last. But from the moment you open your big mouth in the public, and you hit the ego of some sensitive persons, *for me* I don’t think it’s impermissible. not all the time you're in favor.

Ingredients:

200g chopped boiled octopus
cooking oil
benishoga (pickled ginger) (to taste)
chopped negi (or scallions) (to taste)
tenkasu (or rice crispies) (to taste)

[Batter]:

450cc water
1 piece konbu (kelp), 10cm square
15g powdered katsuo-bushi (shaved dried bonito)
200g flour
2 eggs

[Sauce]:

commercial takoyaki sauce
or worcestershire sauce
or bulldog sauce
or mayonnaise (Best Foods or Hellman's)

Cooking time: 10-20 minutes

Servings: 50-60 pieces (4-5 persons)

She enters the cubicle, closes the door, pulls the latch and sits. Soon, the crowded washroom

reverberates with the sound of her urine splashing into the water at the bottom of the toilet

bowl.

An unfavorable nuisance of modern life, you may say. A source of deep humiliation if you

happen to be a Japanese woman.

Her solution for years has been to conceal the noise. Not by a well-timed cough.

But by flushing the toilet whilst relieving herself. The familiar commotion created by the

gurgling cistern drowns out of her business.

Depending on the length of her stay, the toilet may be flushed up to three or four times.

And she may walk out quietly, without anyone knowing of the noise that she has made.

Her face saved.

Unfortunately, the water is not. With each flush, 10 litres of water disappears into the

sewerage. That's 30 litres a visit. And over 100 litres daily.

Now, multiply that by the number of women in all of Japan.

A self-conscious avoidance of shame results in a shameful loss of pure drinking water.

And water is now one of the most precious commodities in the East.

Over 70% of India's water supplies are contaminated. In New Delhi, the Yzmuna River is

deluged with 50 million gallons of untreated sewerage, 5 million gallons of industrial effluent

So too does Singapore and Bangkok. The Philippines and Indonesia inexplicably lose over one

Saudi Arabia's supply will be exhausted early next century. The next war in the Middle East
won't be over crude black oil, but crystal clear water.

India and Pakistan are almost certain to find themselves in a similar position as they attempt
to resolve the competition for the thick murk that flows through the Hindus river basin.
Hong Kong has the pleasure of possessing more Rolls Royce automobiles per capital than any o
other country. Yet you risk your life from drinking from the tap there.

Ironic then, that the source of life brings death. Bubbling with disease, fouled water robs the
lives of 25 thousand Asians daily. 10 million a year.
The majority of them small children too frail to fight.

The world bank estimates it will cost at least $128 billion in the next 10 years to simply meet
the basic drinking and sanitation needs of Asia.

An amount almost beyond comprehension.
The crisis is real. It will not go away.
It calls for us all to re-evaluate how we use the clean water that is available.
And for the more ingenious ones amongst us to find solutions.

In Japan, electronic gadgets are now installed in the ladies' rooms. Attached to these gadgets are
speakers. They emulate the sound of a flushing toilet.

Now there is no need for the timid women to flush any more than is necessary.
The Fuji Bank has installed this system and already reports a $70 000 saving on water bills
each year.

How can you begin to change things? The battle begins in your home.
Everytime you turn a tap, look at the stream. You wouldn't last three days without it.
More than food, or love, or wealth, you need water to survive.

our is PC fixed just yesterday

last night was so great. a very good friend of mine celebrated her bday. she invited us to eat outside after our BL class i was soo fun fun fun, she treated us on some buffet restaurant, and we also did videoke.. \(^_^)/ we didnt noticed the time that we've been singing for straight 2 hrs.. LOL.. bonding with a good friends are so great. they are the best. i can be me whenever am with them. they accepted me as what i am, even though am the only one who knows arashi, they are still willing to listen to my arashi-rants(maybe they have no choice.. oh well.. LOL)

so it was so late ne... got home at 1:30 a.m. (i think, not sure i wasn't wearing my wristwatch).. then i slept at 4 am.. i did some reflection paper on my NSTP subject "what is an ignatian leader?" i just find it weird, whenever i sleep late, i wake up early,

i woke up 6 am and got to shcool before 8:30

after i did my reflection thingy, i watched some kmovie.. "innocent steps".. i watched that movie for more than 6 times already.. the story was 'a-ok' i liked it ^_^... and guys, believe me or not, the main character(moon geunyoung) is like my friends'(the bday celebrant) long lost sister... they looked like a twins!!! gwd! i envy her!! good thing she's my good friend for almost 2 yrs now >_<
